Training is performed in line the BMAA Powered Parachute Training Sylabus and takes place at Chatteris near Cambridge. There are two types of Licence. Without and with Operational limitations.
NPPL(M) - Powered Parachutes (without Operational Limitations):
A new pilot needs a minimum of 15 hours flight training plus 6 hours solo flight time under the supervsion of a licensed instructor. During this training time you will complete 25 take offs and landings and pass a a General Skills test and complete navigation training.
NPPL(M) - Powered Parchute (with Operational Limitations):
A new pilot needs a minimum of 4 hours flight training plus 1 hours solo flight time under the supervsion of a licensed instructor. A total of 5 hours minimum.
During this training time you will complete 25 take offs and landings and pass a a General Skills test. The limitations of this licence type are:
- No Passenger maybe carried
- Wind Speed 10kt or less
- Cloud base 1000ft above ground level.
- Visibility not less than 10Km
- No flight more than 8 nautical miles from the take off site.
Differences Training:
or qualified pilots, differences training takes 4 hours.
Training takes place at Chatteris near Cambridge, and follow the BMAA's dual training syllabus.
